Join other wine lovers as we Travel Through the Glass to South Africa with Vin Social Founder & Certified Sommelier, Sara Moll, and special guest winemakers, Ntsiki Biyela and Tinashe Nyamudoka.
Meet two first-generation founder/winemakers and discover their entrepreneurial story – creating successful wine brands – both as a reflection of themselves and a celebration of their roots.
MEET NTSIKI BIYELA
My ambition to create my own wines grew following a collaboration with Californian winemaker, Helen Kiplinger, that was initiated by my importer Mika Bulmash of Wine for the World. It was over dinner and a glass of wine with my new colleagues in the USA that I shared the story of the inspiration behind my ambitions. Aslina, my beloved grandmother, was the guiding light in my life and it became obvious that my brand should be named in her honor. My ultimate goal is to be as honest and authentic as possible, and create a memorable experience for anyone drinking my wine.

MEET TINASHE NYAMUDOKA
We are in the business of evoking emotions and creating everlasting experiences so having people appreciate and enjoy my wine brings greater reward than money can buy. I am inspired by the realization that I have an opportunity to create meaningful change, inspire others with the growth of my wine brand, create employment opportunities, and make a greater social impact. In addition to Kumusha, I am an executive board member of the Black Cellar Club (BLACC), a non-profit organization that works to support black winemakers and sommeliers across the globe.
